This year has been a whirlwind of unknowns, and that could continue into next year.  For gun enthusiasts, it’s important to stay up to date on gun laws in your area, as well as potential changes that might arise.  Recently, President Trump nominated Amy Coney Barrett as an associate Justice of the Supreme Court.  She was approved on October 27, 2020.
So what is the new Justice’s stance on the Second Amendment?  Looking at the recent statement from the NRA, it’s safe to assume, she believes it should be protected.  In late October they released a statement saying “On behalf of our millions of members, we offer congratulations to all who participated in the confirmation of Amy Coney Barrett as a Justice of the United States Supreme Court,” says Jason Ouimet, executive director, NRA-ILA. “She promises to serve our nation with distinction and honor.”
Another source from Fox News claims she takes the Second Amendment very seriously and believes in the right of law abiding citizens to keep and bear arms.  This is good news for gun owners and gives us all hope for the future of supreme court cases.
